Anmälan är öppen! Maila studentspelmanslagsvm@folkmusik.nu för att säkra er plats. Det är begränsat antal lag, så först till kvarn gäller! Anmälan stänger den 30e september.
Senast den 5e oktober behöver lagen skicka in följande information:
- Hur många är ni?
- Vilka instrument spelar ni samt hur många per instrument?
- Hur många instrument behöver line (telekabel, t.ex stränginstrument med inbyggd mikrofon).
- Vilka låtar spelar ni (gärna i rätt ordning)?

REGLER FÖR FRAMFÖRANDET:
Följande regler och riktlinjer finns att förhålla sig till:
- 10 minuters framträdande, totalt 15 minuters scentid (riggning + spel) per lag.
- 3 låtar (eller set av låtar) per lag, varav minst en ska vara traditionell folkmusik.
- Max 40 personer per lag, detta för att alla ska rymmas på scenen och att ljudtekniker ska hinna med att göra ett bra jobb.
- Festivalen erbjuder trumset, elpiano och förstärkning för elinstrument. Alla övriga instrument måste tas med av deltagarna själva.
Juryn bedömer primärt efter dessa aspekter av framförandet:
- Dansbarhet och sväng
- Låtval, arrangemang och finess
- Spelglädje och energi
Dansmästerskap
Tävlingarna genomförs i samband med Studentspelmanslags-VM, men är en separat tävling. Du behöver inte vara med i något lag för att delta i danstävlingen.

The purpose of the Studentspelmanslags-VM (Student folk group World Championship)is to promote the international culture of student folk music groups.
By gathering a large amount of groups once a year to select the World’s Best Studentspelmanslag, we hope that more people realise that participating in a spelmanslag is a really fun way of doing folk music.
We also hope that the World Championship will promote the founding of more studentspelmanslag around the world.
Registration
Registration is now open! Email studentspelmanslagsvm@folkmusik.nu to secure your spot. The number of teams is limited, so places will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Registration closes on September 30.
By October 5 at the latest, teams must submit the following information:
- How many people are in your group?
- Which instruments do you play, and how many people play each instrument?
- How many instruments need a line input (via a jack cable—for example, string instruments with built-in pickups)?
- Which songs will you play (preferably in the correct order)?

Performance Rules
The following rules and guidelines apply:
- Each team has a 10-minute performance and a total of 15 minutes on stage (setup and performance combined).
- Each team may perform three songs (or a set of songs), at least one of which must be traditional folk music.
- A maximum of 40 people per team is allowed, so that everyone can fit on stage and the sound engineers have enough time to do a good job.
- The festival provides a drum kit, electric piano, and amplification for electric instruments. Participants must bring all other instruments themselves.
The jury will primarily assess the following aspects of the performance:
- Danceability and groove
- Song choice, arrangement, and finesse
- Enjoyment and energy in the playing
